How to Paint Safely

You may not think of painting as a health risk, especially if you’re not using a ladder. But, paint is a combination of chemicals and can be very hazardous.
We suggest that you use our safe, non-toxic, low odor and zero VOC Mythic paint. Even though our interior and exterior paints are safe for people, plants and pets, here are some more tips to follow:
Work in well-ventilated areas at all time, even if you are using our low odor paint.
Of course, do not smoke when painting and turn off all pilot lights on gas appliances. Also, wear goggles when painting ceilings or above you so that paint stays out of your eyes.
Lastly, even though you don’t have to worry about any toxic paint chemicals that your skin can absorb coming from Mythic paint, washing after painting is always a good idea.
